Youth and young adults ages 15 to 35 in the Holland Circuit are members of MCCA Youth. Their representative on the Leeward Islands District MCCA Youth & Young Adults Commission is Sister Pauline Rachuene, a young adult from the Rotterdam congregation.

The circuit’s coordinator for youth and young adult work is Sister Sahsjah of the Rotterdam congregation.

In both the Amsterdam and Rotterdam congregations, youth play a leading role in the worship service on the third Sunday of each month. Participants lead the worship service, read scripture readings, lead prayers, and give special dance, speech, and/or song performances. The posted photos show them in various leading roles.

Unified Youth Worship

In Rotterdam, the Youth Praise Team is preparing for MCCA Youth and Young Adults Lord’s Day, which takes place on the third Sunday of November each year. The worship service is planned by the Connexional MCCA Youth Commission so that youth and young adults in the eight MCCA districts can share a common experience on that day.

In Youth and Young Adults, the MCCA is guided by the motto ‘Setting examples in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity’.
