The Women’s League will have a workshop ’Making Jewellery’ on Friday 31st July from 15:00 – 18:00 here in the Church building. MCCA women are also invited. If you want to participate, please let Sis. Glinder Racherds now by Tuesday 28th July. Contribution is €10.
The Farewell & Appreciation joint Service of Rev’d Dr. Meade, acknowledging her service in and contribution to the Circuit, will take place as a combined Service at Rotterdam on 9 August 2026. The officiating clergy for that worship shall be the District President. The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will also be administered during that worship. Persons who have given up their names to travel with the minibuses to Rotterdam on August 9th, please note that the buses leave at 11.30 sharp from the church. As a congregation we would like to present a special Farewell gift to Rev Dr Meade. Today a special soft offering will be taken affording everyone the opportunity to donate generously. Of course, persons are also free to give a Personal Gift to Rev Dr Meade.
Discipleship & Bible study- Dutch spoken – meetings. From September 8, 2026, a second group of Bible study online meetings will start. What can you expect? Learning together from the Bible and discovering how God’s Word speaks in daily life. Growing in faith through prayer, conversation and mutual encouragement. Experiencing discipleship and searching together for how following Jesus gives direction to our lives. Together we discover how discipleship deepens and gives direction to our lives. If you are interested or if you have any questions, please contact Bro. Matthijs Duyzer. The flyer has been circulated via the Class (ass.) leaders.
Bishop Rev’d Damien Hughes will be visiting the Circuit from August 6th through August 14th
From the 1st of September we welcome our new Superintendent Minister, Rev’d Dennis Baptiste.
Members are reminded that in the month of August there will be no beamer in use. Please walk with your hymnbook.
Also, in the month of August, the Sunday’s church chores will be assigned to the classes. Next week Sunday the Class on duty is Class 1. But anyone can help out.
There will be No service here at Amsterdam on August 9th.
