- Today marks the beginning of the Connexional Year 2026–2027. As part of this new season, the Leeward Island District Prayer and Fasting Programme, (from today 6th until the 12th) will guide us through seven days of reflection and renewal: The theme of the week is “Reigniting our passion” and we are being encouraged to Reignite our Passion for:
- God’s presence
- For Holiness.
- For the Word.
- For Prayer.
- For Service.
- For Souls.
- For Worship.
2. As of Friday, September 4th, Class Leaders Training has started. The sessions will be held monthly on the first Friday of each month at 7:00 PM Eastern Time, with six sessions in total. The meetings will be held via Zoom. This information has been shared with you through your Class App.
3. On Thursday, September 10th the second group Bible study online meeting will start at 7:30 PM. Please contact Bro. Matthijs if you would like to participate.
4. On Tuesday, September 8th the Rotterdam Congregational Council and the Rotterdam Pastoral Council will meet online via Teams Platform at 7:00 PM The members of both Councils are asked to take note. The link to the meeting will be shared with you in due time
5. On Wednesday, September 9th the Amsterdam Congregational Council and the Amsterdam Pastoral Council will meet at 7 PM. All members of both councils are asked to take note. The link to the meeting will be shared with you in due time
6. On Saturday, September 12th the Local Preachers quarterly meeting will take place at 10:00 AM via MS Teams.
7. On Saturday, September 19th the Circuit R & D Committee will meet at 9:00 AM followed by the Circuit Pastoral Council at 11:00 AM, these meetings will also be by MS Teams.
