Notices October 18th

  1. The Dutch-language Discipleship Bible Study session for Group 1 will take place on Tuesday, October 20, at 7:30 PM.
  2. The MCCA Youth & Young Adults’ “Lord’s Day” will be held on Sunday, October 25th.
This year, the Circuit will gather for a joint youth and young adult service at the Rotterdam Methodist Church.
We encourage our youth, young adults, families, and the wider church community to make every effort to participate in this special time of worship, fellowship, and celebration.

For this occasion, we invite children, youth, and young adults to follow a dress code:
    “Represent Your Island” T-shirts.
This means wearing a T-shirt that represents the island you—or your parents or grandparents—hail from. For example, if you are from St. Maarten, you might wear a St. Maarten T-shirt; if you are from Curaçao, wear a Curaçao T-shirt; if you are from Aruba, wear an Aruba T-shirt. If you wish to represent the Netherlands, a “Holland” or “Netherlands” T-shirt is also welcome.
Please pair your T-shirt with jeans and sneakers, keeping the dress code comfortable, simple, and easy for everyone to follow.

During the service, all children, youth, and young adults will sit together as one united group—celebrating our diversity, strengthening our community, and worshipping God together. Let us come together, proud to represent our roots, and show that—even though we may come from different islands and backgrounds—we are one family in Christ. We will rely on God’s strength as we gather together as one church family to support our young people, celebrating their faith, their gifts, and their contributions to the life and ministry of the church. Everyone is warmly invited!

Blessings—we look forward to sharing this special service together on Sunday, October 25th, at 2:00 PM at the Methodist Church in Rotterdam.

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, members are encouraged to wear a ribbon on Sunday, October 25th, in support of those affected by cancer. In doing so, we will come together as a church family in love, compassion, and prayer.

You may choose from the following colors:
    Pink: Breast cancer awareness.
    White: Cancer support.
Lavender: General cancer awareness, or a color representing a specific type of cancer.
Thank you in advance for your support.
